Hello! Did you know that my mom grew up on a dairy farm, and her uncles and then brother also raised pigs across the road? (I'm guessing you didn't know π) Anyway, my grandparents' farm was my favorite place to be in the summers when I was growing up. Racing the 4 wheelers, wading in the creek, chasing the cows back in the pasture, and watching the night sky for the Northern Lights are among some of my best childhood memories. I still love the farm, and even though we can't visit the same...

Happy Wednesday! As a kids yoga teacher, I never thought about how many crafts I might include in my yoga and mindfulness lessons. At first I was too scared to try things with scissors or glue (let alone GLITTER!) but then I decided the fine motor skill practice and mindfulness benefits were more than worth it. Plus, arts and crafts are FUN! I also finally learned what REAL step by step directions are and that breaking things into smaller actions is huge benefit for teaching a large group....
